Trapped In Panic

It was silent in the hospital only the footsteps of people walking up and down the corridor the sound of nurses walking up and down the coridor their shoes making soft echos everywhere. A thumping heartbeat sank into Ali's ears and the screams such painful screams from his mother, there was blood everywhere so much blood soaking into the carpet. Her lifeless body twitching and contorting in pain with every fowl blow.

Ali couldn't help but stare at his mothers lifeless eyes as she slowly faded away from life, his father mumbling abuse at her as he whipped the blood off his brow then leaving the house. Crawling to his mothers side Ali tried to wake her to make it better but nothing did. It was the sobs of his sister Annie brought him back to home, but home wasn't safe. Holding Annie's trembling body Ali rocked her back and forth for her own comfort as well as his own.

At the hospital Ali was rocking slowly his eyes scanning everywhere he held on to Annie's hand tightly even though it was trembling.
